What is Good Sam Extended Service Plan?
How does mechanical breakdown insurance work?
In the event of a breakdown, call us first for a referral to a preferred service provider to receive priority service and the highest quality repairs OR take your RV to your favorite service provider anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. If you do take it to your own service provider, call our toll-free number and our RV experts will talk to the service center's technician on your behalf. They will review the service center's diagnosis and recommendations, and then authorize the repair work.
Major repairs may require an inspection to verify the extent of the damage. We pay the service center directly for all covered repairs. You pay the deductible, plus any non-covered items.

Different coverages for different components for various time periods causes confusion, leading RV owners to think they are covered when, in fact, they may only be partially covered. Good Sam Extended Service Plan offers protection after a manufacturer's warranty runs out. New RVs typically come with a 3-year Power Train warranty and a one-year warranty on appliances.
Buying a Good Sam Extended Service Plan before your warranties expire ensure that you won't have any period of lapsed coverage and that you lock in a policy at a more affordable rate while your vehicle is newer.
